Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. We do not accept returns on patterns, knitting needles or crochet hooks, or knitting needle or crochet hook sets.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@thestitcherymarkham.ca. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 1-2721 Bur Oak Avenue, Markham, ON L6B 1K7 or returned in person to the same address. 

Once a return has been approved, to return your product, you should send your product to: The Stitchery, 1-2721 Bur Oak Avenue, Markham, ON, L6B 1K7.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund, if applicable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like patterns, knitting needles or crochet hooks, or knitting needle or crochet hook sets. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
