Collection: Perfect Picnic CAL 2026

This autumn, the Perfect Picnic CAL brings crochet lovers from around the world together for eight weeks of colour, creativity and making together. For this year’s annual Scheepjes Crochet-A-Long, Scheepjes is collaborating with Eleonora Tully of Coastal Crochet. A much-loved design by Eleonora makes its Scheepjes debut in six new colourways inspired by idyllic picnic spots.

Six different CAL kits

The Perfect Picnic CAL is featured in six colourways across two popular Scheepjes yarns: Colour Crafter and Cotton Create DK, giving you a choice of fibres, finishes, price points and picnic-inspired palettes.

The Colour Crafter kits are available in Picnic Under the Aurora, Picnic on the Mountain and Picnic by the Seaside. The Cotton Create DK kits are available in Picnic at Sunset, Picnic After Dawn and Picnic in the Park.

A free Perfect Picnic tote bag

For every official CAL kit purchased, you’ll automatically receive a specially designed Perfect Picnic CAL tote bag, at no extra cost.

Extensive pattern support and inspiration

The Scheepjes Perfect Picnic CAL runs from 21 October to 9 December 2026, with a new pattern part released every Wednesday. Participants will be supported throughout with video tutorials from Eleonora, Tips & Tricks guidance and advice and encouragement in the Official Scheepjes Facebook Groups. Across the eight weeks, the CAL will also be shared through the Scheepjes and Coastal Crochet channels, keeping the international community engaged and inspired to join in.
