Sharing in the same weight and size as the beloved Scheepjes Whirl yarns, Frosted Whirl differs in fibre, being made from a 57% Cotton, 38% Acrylic and 5% Lurex blend. Choose from an irresistible long gradient colourway with a subtle glitter effect that gives each shawl or garment a beautiful elegance. Create garments, homeware items and accessories that are simultaneously lightweight, breathable and stand-out with a beautiful drape. Unlike other gradient yarns, Scheepjes Whirl and Frosted Whirl have a generous twist to enable speed while working the yarn and to help prevent splitting.

Each colourway also has a unique twisted ply which adds to the distinctiveness of each colourway. At each colour change, the fibres have been tied by hand leaving a subtle fluff or fuzz buzz which will hide discretely between your stitches, giving you a smooth, flawless finish with a characteristic flavour!
