Gather Blanket Crochet Kit

Built from 24 crocheted squares, the design moves beyond the classic granny square. Each square features a criss-cross pattern of eyelets with textured puff stitches at the centre of each diamond, adding depth and interest. The squares are joined together before finishing the blanket with a gently scalloped border that gathers the whole piece together. After blocking, the finished blanket measures approximately 90 x 130cm (36 x 52in).

A neutral base colour creates a sense of balance, while a varied selection of contrasting shades adds rhythm and movement across the surface.
