Petalique Maxi Sugar Rush Blanket MAL Kit

One motif, many ways to make it your own Scheepjes Petalique Make-A-Long invites makers to explore a single idea in depth. Built around a sophisticated floral motif that remains central across multiple formats, each adaptation places it in a new context. As a wall hanging or pillow, it appears as a single, decorative composition. In bag form, the 
motif is incorporated into a practical, everyday item.

As a blanket, the design opens out into a broader composition, where geometry, repeating elements and colour placement come together to shape the overall result. 

Participant choice sits at the centre of this MAL. Makers can choose between several  finished items, from smaller decorative pieces to larger, more time intensive projects, as well as from a range of Scheepjes yarns. These options allow participants to adapt the 
project to their preferred materials, colour palettes and the amount of time they wish to commit. This flexible format also encourages repeat engagement, with participants returning to create multiple versions of the design. 

The mosaic crochet patterns are classified by the designer as suitable for advanced level crocheters. However, stitches and techniques are introduced in an approachable way, supported by clear instructions and helpful video content. Alongside the guidance available in the International and Dutch Official Scheepjes Facebook Groups, this provides a well-supported environment where adventurous crocheters with less experience can feel confident taking part.
